Resolve to resolve

I am not making public resolutions this year. I know what I want to do, and for once, surprisingly, I know what I need to do to get there. I'd been looking for some sort of secret process when a friend of mine made me realize I just had to keep it simple and quit complicating things. After all, this ain't exactly rocket science.

So for the past several days (well, nights that blend into really early mornings if I'm to be honest), I've been doing just that; keeping things simple, and it's working just fine. No, it's working more than just fine.

Finished a short story called Waiting for Snow and sent it on out for submission.

Doing a MASSIVE website that's sucking the life from me during the day and can only be replenished by copious amounts of caffeine drinks (my latest favorite is Full Throttle).

Working on this for something I'll reveal
later:

On the last day my kids were off school, played with this:

And finally traded in my antique cell phone for one of those handy-dandy new ones with the camera phone and disco lights.

So far I've succeeded in taking four intentional photos of my kids and pets.

And seven unintentional photos of my ear, the dashboard of my car, and the inside of my pocket.

Gotta run... phone's ringing, email's blinking, and I'm low on coffee...
